Unfortunately due to the imposition of a lockdown in England the previously planned commemoration in Fromus Square will no longer take place. Individuals wishing to commemorate the day by laying a wreath on the memorial during their shopping or exercise time, may do so and it will be subsequently secured to the railings as usual.
Obviously all of the organisation involved in the Remembrance event regret that these steps have to be taken in order to safeguard public health and wellbeing and encourage individuals to mark their respect appropriately.
