Sunday 2nd June 2019     11:00 - 17:00
Farm View Studios, Curlew Green, Suffolk, IP17 2RA

In June 2019 there are over 100 artists, galleries and makers around the county, who as part of Suffolk Open Studios are opening their doors to the public at weekends.

During the Open Studios weekends visitors are able to have a look behind the scenes and see the artists in action. There are also hubs and trails that can make it easier to see many artists in one day. There is no obligation to buy from the artists and galleries, they are there to welcome you to their space and share their enthusiasm for their creativity!

Kelsale cum Carlton is fortunate to have two participating artists one is:

Helen Armstrong Bland specialising in – Printmaking, Collage, Book Structures

Her work combines a variety of printmaking techniques to create ‘Mixed Media Print Based Work’- using the more traditional relief processes of lino and wood, in combination with direct and screen printing, producing one off unique art works as well as small editions. Her wider body of work ranges from Site Specific Installation, Artists Books, incorporating text, poetry, ephemera and found object.

Heading out of Saxmundham follow directions to Kelsale, go past the village turning and at the brow of the hill on the left there is a turning for ‘Curlew Green’, take this. Go all the way to the top of the road, (past Farm View), turn left into a single track dead end road and my studio/workshop is just in the back of the garden. Please note: at busy times you can park on the drive.

The second artist is Sally Goodacre (89), see separate listing
