Saturday 1st June 2019     11:00 - 17:00
Moat House Farm, Rendham Road, Carlton, Saxmundham, Suffolk, IP17 2QN

In June 2019 there are over 100 artists, galleries and makers around the county, who as part of Suffolk Open Studios are opening their doors to the public at weekends.

During the Open Studios weekends visitors are able to have a look behind the scenes and see the artists in action. There are also hubs and trails that can make it easier to see many artists in one day. There is no obligation to buy from the artists and galleries, they are there to welcome you to their space and share their enthusiasm for their creativity!

Kelsale cum Carlton is fortunate to have two participating artists one is:

Sally Goodacre specialising in – Textile Art

Sally is a textile artist working with fabric, paint and stitch. She teaches weekly Patchwork and Quilting classes from her studios in her barn complex and also runs one day workshops covering dyeing and textile art. Sally is also an active member of The Majyk Scraps Textile Group and Suffolk Modern Quilt Group..

From the A12 take the B1119 towards Rendham. After 1 mile on the second sharp bend, take the small road ahead towards Carlton Meres. Moat House Farm is the first house on the right after the caravan park turning. You will find the studio in the barn complex as you enter the drive to the house.

The second artist is Helen Armstrong Bland, see separate listing
