In June 2018 there are over 100 artists, galleries and makers around the county, who as part of Suffolk Open Studios are opening their doors to the public at weekends.
Visitors are able to have a look behind the scenes and see them in action. There are hubs and trails that can make it easier to see many artists in one day. There is no obligation to buy from the artists, they are there to welcome you to their studio and share their enthusiasm for their creativity!
Kelsale cum Carlton is fortunate to have two participating artists one is:
Sally is a textile artist working with fabric, paint and stitch. She teaches weekly Patchwork and Quilting classes from her studios in her barn complex and also runs one day workshops covering dyeing and textile art. Sally is also an active member of The Majyk Scraps Textile Group.
From the A12 take the B1119 towards Rendham. After 1 mile on the second sharp bend, take the small road ahead towards Carlton Meres. Moat House Farm is the first house on the right after the caravan park turning. You will find the studio in the barn complex as you enter the drive to the house.
The second artist is Helen Armstrong Bland, see separate listing
