St Mary and St Peter’s Church welcomes the pupils of famed mezzo soprano Gillian Knight for an evening of Summer Serenade in early August.
A concert of well loved solos and duets from Les Miserable to Mozart with local artistes featuring Joanna Barfield, Veronica Downing, Barry Marshall, Wendy Slaney and students from St Felix School in Southwold accompanied by Jonathan Rutherford.
Gillian Knight, a long standing soloist at the Royal Opera House now lives in Suffolk and brings a wealth of talent to the lovely setting at the church in Kelsale.
The concert starts at 6:30 and refreshments will be served.
A retiring collection in aid of the church fund for provision of kitchen and toilet facilities.
