As part of a County wide initiative the Royal British Legion will be attending 248 churchyards across Suffolk to place 1,332 crosses on all known war graves in each parish at 11.00 hrs on Thursday 8th November. On Thursday at 11.00 hrs a local RBL/Ex-Service member will be laying a Poppy Cross and marker on the WW1 graves in Kelsale St Mary & St Peter churchyard. All are welcome to attend and pay their respects to those lost during World War I.

Once again Kelsale-cum-Carlton are hosting another fabulous evening entertainment for young and old alike. As usual there is no entry fee, but copious buckets will be available in order that visitors can show their appreciation with a donation on the night. Guys will be provided by the fantastic pupils from Kelsale's Church of England Voluntary Controlled Primary School. Along with the fireworks, there will be the usual heady cocktail of hot food, drinks and snacks, accompanied by music and merriment.

PRESS RELEASE  A date to put in your diary is the Kelsale Village Hall autumn Quiz and Chips Night on Friday 12th October 2018.  The doors open at 7pm ready to start the questions at 7.30pm.
