PRESS RELEASE  A date to put in your diary is the Kelsale Village Hall autumn Quiz and Chips Night on Friday 12th October 2018.  The doors open at 7pm ready to start the questions at 7.30pm. This is a popular annual event and usually great fun as well as challenging but you don’t have to be a Mastermind!  This year we thought we would warm everyone up with fish and chips from the Trawler’s Catch in Saxmundham, so the charge will be £13 per person. The Mansfield Ensemble

St Mary & St Peter's Church in Kelsale host the Mansfield Ensemble who return to play selected string quartets by Mozart and Brahms. Entry is free and refreshments will be available. There will also be raffles on the night, with all the funds raised going toward the provision of toilet and kitchenette facilities in the church.

St Peter's will once again participate in this fun day when you can cycle or walk from local church to church and help raise funds to assist with repairs and upkeep. Last year in excess of £170,000 was raised, the greatest yet. The Annual Sponsored Ride & Stride is a National event and every second Saturday in September cyclists all round the country are out making money for their local County Churches Trust.
