Subject to any last minute changes in 'the rules', the Kelsale Social Club will once again be opening its doors on the evening of Friday 21st of May 2021. For those unaware, during lockdown the club has undergone the first stages of a ongoing transformation, new decor, curtains and furniture, with a warm welcome for all! The picture alludes to the changes, but more has happened since it was taken!! Be sure to check it out.  

Due to continuing limitations in respect to Public Meetings, this years APM will be a virtual 'ZOOM' Meeting. Those wishing to attend should contact the Parish Clerk to arrange access. An Agenda will be published prior to the meeting and will be announced as a 'News Item' on the front page of the website.  

Sizewell C Co. are to begin surveying the land to the north of  Kelsale-cum-Carlton, earmarked for the so called ‘Sizewell Link Road’ should the proposed new Nuclear Reactors at Sizewell Beach get the go-ahead in the next year or so. Contractors working for Sizewell C Co are undertaking a programme of surveys. Starting week commencing Monday 29 March, teams of ecologists will be out doing a variety of ecological surveys, including for bats, great crested newts and breeding birds. Surveys will take place at a variety of times of day but often very early in the morning and in the evening (including after dark for some bat and great crested newt surveys).
