Following the highly successful initial Gin Night in June, by popular demand Kelsale Club is hosting yet another excellent evening for all those of the gin persuasion. Last time there were seven guest gins on offer and this may be exceeded at the September evening. The Suffolk Libraries Mobile Library visits regularly, giving access to hundreds of thousands of books, including LARGE PRINT, audio books and childrens books. You can also hire CDs & DVDs for a small charge. If the items you want are not on the vehicle you can reserve them from the library catalogues free of charge and have them delivered on the van at a later date. The SHCT ‘Ride & Stride’ will take place all day on Saturday, 14th September. This is the major annual fund-raiser for SHCT, when local churches are open to welcome cyclists and walkers – each participant is sponsored for every church they visit, and half of the money raised goes directly to the church of their choice, with the other half going to SHCT.
